The Annual Dinner is our flagship event where we celebrate four outstanding individuals with the Chamber Service Award, Community Leadership Award, Jerry Loy Award, and the Charles E. Billups Award.
Chamber Service Award
Stephanie Guyotte, UMass Lowell

Supports the mission and values of the Chamber and demonstrates leadership, Integrity, creativity, resource management, and loyalty which has contributed pointedly to the Chamber service area’s viability, image, or quality. Recognized for their dedication to the Chamber and its members. This is a person who unselfishly volunteers their time to promote the Chamber and mentor new Chamber members.
Community Leadership Award
Allison Heartquist, City of Haverhill
The Community Leadership Award is presented to acknowledge and recognize a person within the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce community that has made a positive impact to improve the quality of life throughout our catchment area. The Community Leadership Award winner will be selected based on a myriad of efforts including, but not limited to business. This Award is typically presented to a person who is an unsung hero that makes a positive impact on the community.
Jerry Loy Outstanding Director of the Year Award
Penelope Guerrero-Perez, Footwear Design Consultant
The Jerry Loy Outstanding Director of the Year Award is presented to an individual from the current Board of Directors who goes above and beyond in their efforts to support the chamber's mission, its programs and events, and the organization’s financial viability. The winner is identified for his/her commitment to “doing anything at any time with a pleasant and positive attitude and always responding to the call of duty.”
Charles E. Billups Award
Lane Glenn, Northern Essex Community College
The Charles E. Billips Award was established in 1985 to recognize an outstanding organization or individual in our service area that continuously and selflessly supports the efforts of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. This annual award is presented to an organization or individual that has made a positive impact on the success of the Chamber of Commerce, going above and beyond in their participation, leadership and overall support of the mission.
To ensure everyone's safety attendance is limited to 120 guests. In addition the traditional cocktail hour will be omitted, but cocktails will be available for purchase. All attendees will be required to wear a mask until they are seated and if they leave their table at any point. Guests will be seated eight to a table and all the tables will be spaced within social distance guidelines. That being said…we plan to have a great evening with good friends, food, and great cheer!
