Power of Self-Education (POSE) Inc. is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Black History Month celebration, to be held at the Buttonwoods museum in Haverhill located at 240 Water St. Haverhill, Ma. 01830 from 7 PM to 9 PM on Saturday February 23rd 2019. This celebration looks to the past and present accomplishments of African-Americans, as POSE aims to bring all people together to rejoice in celebration. On February 23rd we invite you to participate in reading of black poetry, literature, lyrics, and narratives that showcases both the struggle, but more importantly the resiliency and success of African-Americans. This interracial/multiracial event denotes love, sacrifice, commitment, and the spirit of the humanity. We are honored to be one of the 2019 grant recipients of the Haverhill Cultural Council for this event.
If you are interested in participating in any way please contact Kat Everett at kateverett@poseinc.org or call 978-457-3676.
We are thrilled to again be partnering with Buttonwoods Museum for the 3rd consecutive year to bring you this significant event. We hope you will join us!
