FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CiderFeast New England Returns to Haverhill this Summer to Celebrate the Region's Rich Apple Heritage Haverhill, MA – May 17, 2024 - After a successful event in 2023, CiderFeast New England is back for the 4th year to celebrate the region's apple heritage with an all-inclusive tasting event featuring craft hard ciders from some of the top cider makers in the area. The event will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM EDT, at the Harbor Place Boardwalk in Haverhill. "We're excited to bring back CiderFeast New England for another year," said Jimmy Carbone, founder of Destination Downtown Haverhill and Craft Haverhill. "New England has a rich apple heritage. This event is a great way to celebrate the region's hard cider makers and artisan food vendors." New England's unique climate and soil, coupled with the Puritan value of self-sufficient agriculture, has given the region an unrivaled crop of apples. As the area was settled, easy transport via abundant waterways fueled the growth of the apple industry. Today, New England remains a top producer of apples and hard cider. CiderFeast New England is a one-of-a-kind event that allows attendees to sample a wide range of hard ciders and foods from some of the best cider makers and artisan food vendors in the region. The lineup for 2024 is still being finalized. Attendees can expect to sample over two dozen featured ciders/meads and enjoy artisanal food tastings from chefs like La Pizza di Forno, Barrio, Roasted, L’Arche Boston North Culinary, Craic Sauce, and more. This year's event features some of the top cider makers in the region, including Eden Ciders, Bird Dog Cider, Spoke and Spy Ciderworks, Ciders of Spain, Ragged Hill Cider Co., Far From the Tree, Salt Box Cider, Andover Cider, Artifact Cider Project, Stormalong Cider, and Farnum Hill Ciders. Attendees also have the opportunity to sample wines by Marzae Winery, meads by Moonlight Meadery, 1634 Meadery, craft beer, and more.
