Greenbelt's Land & Water Conservation Science Panel
Join Greenbelt, Essex County’s Land Trust on Thursday, January 24 for a Science Panel discussion that kicks off its 2019 Film & Lecture Series, “The Confluence of Land and Water” Moderated by Greenbelt President Kate Bowditch, this panel discussion will explore how land and water conservation are interdependent, and what the latest science says we can do to preserve our ecological treasures in an era of climate change. No science background is needed to engage in this topic with us – all are welcome. Science panelists include Barbara Warren from Salem Sound Coast Watch; Priscilla Brooks from Women Working for Oceans and Conservation Law Foundation; and Kaitlyn Shaw from Ipswich River Watershed Association.
