Professional Women Networking Lunch

Join us at Emmaus on Friday, October 14 from 12-1:30 p.m. at 101 at the D’Youville Center for Social Justice, 101 Winter St. Haverhill for the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s Professional Women’s Luncheon Series.  At this session you will learn more about Emmaus’ new building and programming at the D’Youville Center for Social Justice: Emmaus Emmaus Explorers (launched in 2015 for the children in our shelter program), and the new Empowerment Project.

The goal of the Empowerment Project is to provide support and resources to parents, primarily single mothers, to reduce stress levels, build upon personal strengths, and set short- and long-term goals. The project gives parents the opportunity to focus on caring for their own well-being, which in turn gives them the strength to care for their families. 

During the luncheon, experience a typical Empowerment session! Our session will include tips on self-care and a DIY body scrub activity!
