Tattersall Farm Geocaching and Kite Demo/Flying Event

In conjunction with Essex Heritage Trails and Sails Tattersall Farm will host a geocaching and kite demo/flying event.  Participants will experience a web-based recreational "treasure hunt" that challenges them to find "caches" that have been hidden by other players, using GPS coordinates and powers of observation.  Learn how to use geocaching.com website and basic GPS skills. Smart phone or GPS device required.  Download apps c:geo for Androids or Looking4Cache Lite for Iphones.  Kite flying demonstrations will also take place with Kites Over New England and the Blue Hill bservatory Science Center. Proper footwear, insect repellent and long-legged pants recommended.  No dogs, please.  Kites will be available for purchase.
