The Winnekenni Foundation's Wine and Cheese Reception

“The Winnekenni Foundation is hosting a Wine and Cheese Reception on Thursday, May 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Winnekenni Castle. A special dedication ceremony will take place at 6:15 p.m. of the new“Dorothy M. McClennan Memorial Adopt-a-Park” at the Castle. McClennan established the “Dorothy M. McClennan Charitable Trust” upon her death in 2012 and directed that all proceeds go to the Winnekenni Castle. The McClennan Trust is managed by a New Hampshire law firm as Trustee of the Trust. The Trustee has directed the Trust to hire a structural engineer to do an overall assessment on the condition of the building with an eye on the complete restoration of the Castle in the future. In order to accomplish this goal, a major Capital Campaign will be launched in the near future. Details of the Campaign will be announced at the event. Tickets are $35.00 per person and all proceeds go to the Winnekenni Foundation to continue to maintain the building and offer free events and programs for the community.
