UMass Lowell Webinar Series - The Hunt for Greatness
Learn to embrace and use your strengths to be more productive and engaged in your life.
When you really understand who you are, you are going to be better at what you do.
Compared with those who do not get to focus on what they do best, people who have the opportunity to use their strengths are six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs and more than three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life (Rath, T. (2007). StrengthsFinder 2.0. New York: Gallup Press.)
In this highly interactive session you will learn techniques to identify and embrace your strengths and put them to work for a more engaged life.
You will discover:
• The five clues of talent that could help you with any problem you face in your work or life.
• The difference between a talent and a strength
• Why your weaknesses may not matter as much as you think
• Low cost tools that can help you build a language around what makes you unique and give you ideas for action.
