UMass Lowell Innovation Hub Cultural Speaker Series Featuring: UMass Lowell Associate Professor Rocio Rosales A presentation for Parents, Educators, Caregivers, and Community Members UMass Lowell's satellite campus in Haverhill is excited to present our new cultural speaker series, bringing UMass Lowell voices and experts to the Haverhill campus at Pentucket Bank Plaza. Join us on Nov. 14 for a discussion about the myths and misconceptions about autism -- and learn ways to support parents, caregivers and communities through UMass Lowell's educational and community service programs that are affiliated with the Center for Autism Research and Education (CARE). In her presentation, Dr. Rosales will address topics including: What does Autism look like Dispelling myths about causes of Autism Ending misconceptions that create harmful stigmatization Effective treatment options Supporting those with autism and their caregivers
