About Us

At 158 years old, Saggahew Lodge is hardly an “old” lodge. We have a rich history but are focused on the future. Our youthful and energetic group of officers and members are committed to the tenets of Freemasonry and dedicated to bettering themselves and the communities in which they live.

Our meetings are held the third Monday of each month and are usually filled with the usual business of our lodge, good food and fellowship. We often enjoy a few good social occasions, some that are for Masons only, but many others that include our families as well, such as Ladies Night, the children’s holiday party, as well as the annual Master’s Family Cookout. Saggahew members participate in several community events around Haverhill and the Merrimack Valley.

Most importantly, we have many charity programs in which we partake such as Red Cross blood drives, supporting homeless veterans, food drives and scholarship programs, just to name a few.
